Jeremy Renner Hopes to be Part of S.H.I.E.L.D. the TV Series

Questions were raised on whether Jeremy Renner would appear on S.H.I.E.L.D. or not. However, it seems that even Jeremy Renner is more than willing to join the cast, but hasn't been invited to do so (yet), as stated in a previous report by comicbook.com. Is it really a possibility that a two-time Oscar nominee and multi-franchise film star can make a cameo appearance on Marvel's first live-action TV show this season? He is willing but is the S.H.I.E.L.D. up to it? And will they truly invite Jeremy Renner to appear?

The TV show has a lot of speculations of many other stars, as well as the roles that they will bring. For instance, Hawkeye's ex-lover in the comics, 'Mockingbird' is a regular in this season in Agents of SHIELD, and is played by film star Adrianne Palicki. This is a role that will end up with Palicki showing up in the movies eventually, so the idea makes a lot of sense.

However, it could have been just a mere coincidence that even Jeremy Renner happily posted on his WhoSay account that he was suiting up in his Hawkeye costume to shoot something he can't talk about, as stated in a previous article by screenrant.com.

None has confirmed as to the status of Jeremy Renner appearing, but the fans can depend on the vision of Marvel TV and the producers/show runners of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. According to a past report by screenrant.com, "Marvel TV and the producers made it clear going into the back half of season one that they would make the program 'more Marvel' and that means more than bringing in as many real characters from the comics as possible, but make it more relevant to the bigger picture story plans of the entire franchise."

The direction is clear for the management. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returned on primetime last March 3, 2015, and now the fans can just sit back and relax until the time comes for Hawkeye to appear.
