DWTS choreographer and home flip enthusiast Mark Ballas recently sold his Mid-Wilshire condo and has bought a comfy new home in the Beverly Hills area.
According to a recent article on tmz.com, the new Beverly Hills home was purchased by Ballas for $2.5 million. The house is about 4,600 feet and has five bedrooms as well as 5 bathrooms. However, it was also reported that the new place needs some work. There's no indication yet if the choreographer-singer-songwriter would be doing another house flip or not, just like the $1.2 million house he and fellow DWTS alum Derek Hough bought together earlier last year also. The duo was able to resell the property for $1.8 million after the house flip. The house flipping idea was eventually featured in "Mark & Derek's Excellent Flip". Sure was a good partnership, so to speak.
In another article on latimes.com, Mark Ballas previously owned a Mid-Wilshire pad for under $900K. The former penthouse was had a patio and a 2-story loft with awesome cityscape views. The penthouse was in the Museo and featured spaces in the 1,410 square feet area that included an in-unit laundry, three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Gray was the 'in' color scheme for most of the pad's interior.
In the same article, the current Beverly Hill Crest property not only showcases more than 4,6000 square feet of living space, but also includes a bonus room, living, dining and family rooms as well as 3 partial bathrooms.
Celebritynetworth.com reports on Mark Ballas' net worth to be estimated at $2 million as of this writing. Ballas, a Houston, Texas native is also the son of superstar dance champions Shirley and Corky. A year after joining "Dancing With The Stars" in 2007, Ballas and Olympic skater Kristi Yamaguchi took the winning title. He is close friends with siblings Derek and Julianne Hough.
