Actress Anne Hathaway, 29, tied the knot with Adam Schulman, 31, on the California coast, Saturday.
PEOPLE magazine confirmed that the two, invited 150 guests to share their low-key special weekend with them, starting off with a rehearsal dinner at the Ventana Inn and Spa on Friday.
The wedding, which took place in a private estate, was secured and had a nature inspired theme.
PEOPLE reported that there were many branches used to create the ceremony and reception to blend in with the selected theme.
The Washington Post reported that the star of the Princess Dairies wore a Valentino designed gown that made her look appropriately "princessy."
Valentino hinted PEOPLE back in December that the actress might get married in one of his special made gowns.
"I am so happy for Anne. And I would do my best creation for her," he told PEOPLE.
"She's a lovely person. She wears my clothes very, very well. So I would do something special."
The gown also included a veil with a vintage headband.
The two have been together for four years and Shulman popped the big question to Hathaway last November.
Last year, the actress who hosted the 2011 Oscars told USA Today, "I'm so delighted by [Adam]. He's all the things you want a partner to be. I so find joy in his presence."
