Mel Gibson News 2015: Actor’s Girlfriend Rosalind Ross Seen for the First Time After 'Brave Heart' Actor Spit and Cursed Photographer

Mel Gibson is believed to be staying in his home in Sydney after his rumored below-the-belt tirade to a paparazzi on Sunday. Meanwhile, on Monday, his girlfriend, former equestrian vaulter Rosalind Ross, was seen without the actor as she ran errands in the grocery and a health store.

Gibson, 59, who has not been seen for quite some time, made headlines when he allegedly threw vile abuse to a photographer named Kristi Miller. The incident took place on Sunday outside Palace Verona Cinema in Oxford St, Paddington, Sydney. When Miller took shots of the "Brave Heart" actor and his girlfriend, he reportedly spit on her and cursed her, Daily Mail reports.

Miller claims that Gibson pushed her back really hard with his hand or his elbow. She was completely shocked when he spit on her and called her a "dog," according to SMH.

"He was spitting in my face as he was yelling at me, calling me a dog, saying I'm not even a human being and I will go to hell. He swore and called me a c***... It was non-stop, he didn't even breathe. "I thought he was going to punch me in the face."

According to Miller, Gibson only stopped when Ross pulled him. Ross reportedly apologized for the incident, saying, "Sorry he's a bit sick at the moment."

Meanwhile, the allegations were denied by the "Mad Max" star who claimed he was harassed by Miller.

In a statement, Gibson's Los Angeles-based spokesman, Alan Nierob, said that the 59-year-old actor and his friend were harassed by the photographer despite repeated requests to stop. The lawyer claimed that there was never any physical contact whatsoever and the story being told by the photographer is a complete fabrication of the truth.

Gibson and Ross were in Verona for the Israeli Film Festival screening. An investigation is reportedly underway by the New South Wales police, which noted that a man had an altercation with a photographer outside the cinema.
