Singer Nicki Minaj lashed out at Mariah Carey and threatened to punch her out during the production of this seasons "American Idol," Tuesday. The two, are both first time judges for the Fox network show.
The tension between the two heated up in Charlotte, N.C., when they had a misunderstanding about a contestant's performance, according to the Daily News.
Carey, 42, had been provoking Minaj, 26, during the day and called the Young Money Cash Money Billionaires artist a "b---h."
Minaj, who was furious after being called the "b" word, threatened Carey. "I'm gonna knock you out!"
After exchanging a few words, Minaj began screaming, "Get this s--t in self-control. Get in control."
Randy Jackson, who is a judge on the show, confronted her to settle down.
Minaj, who was unable to control the fumes coming out of her continued, "don't lose your head. Don't tell me I'm a gangster! So every time you patronize me, Ima take it back, and if you've got a f---ing problem, handle it!"
"I told them, I'm not f---ing putting up with her f---ing highness over there. I'm not gonna sit here every f---ing minute to have you come down and harass me every minute every day," Minaj continued to lash out.
As Minaj made smart comebacks, Carey began throwing insults back at Minaj but was barely heard.
According to the Daily News, the feud is a result of an incident that took place two years ago, when Carey was a fan of Minaj until they shot a video together, which critics shouted Minaj out for stealing the show.
