Katy Perry's so-called diss song "Crocodile Tears" is reportedly about Taylor Swift's "insincere sorrow" in the Rolling Stone interview back in 2014. The diss track is expected to fuel up Katy and Taylor's feud, according to reports.
"Roar" singer Katy Perry, 30, collaborated with Diplo, 36, for the song reportedly intended to answer Taylor's diss song "Bad Blood." It was said that rapper Diplo is the right man to do it, who, like Perry, has had a row with the "Shake it Off" songstress. However, Taylor, 25, is assuring her fans not to worry about the upcoming diss song as she is not even bothered at all.
"Taylor isn't worried about Katy's diss song about her at all," a source revealed to HollywoodLife. "If anything, she thinks it will help her out because it'll draw more sales for her own single 'Bad Blood.'"
According to the same source, the 25-year-old singer is just smiling and shrugging off the release of Katy's diss song for her because she has the sympathy of the public.
"Another theory she has is that because she got her song about their public feud out first, people will side with her as the person most scorned," the insider continued. "She's super-relaxed about it, and welcomes the rivalry. Katy doesn't scare her one bit."
According to Mirror, Katy has been keeping mum on what she has in mind for Taylor since the singer released "Bad Blood." Katy's new track reportedly could be unveiled as a single or part of Katy's fourth album. However, one thing is said to be sure: the song is about fake people, and Katy is reportedly very interested to let her fans hear it.
Meanwhile, Diplo's historical rift with the "Blank Space" singer started in November when he tweeted a campaign to get the singer a booty. Admitting it as a joke, he learned his lesson from Taylor's millions of fans. He later said, "One of the biggest mistakes of my career was definitely f--king with her," Hollywood Take reports.
Back in June, Katy Perry was rumored to be recording a diss track about her biggest rival in the song called "1984."
