Grunge icon Kurt Cobain took his own life more than 20 years ago and left millions of fans around the world devastated. But even more so the shocking act of the 27-year-old "Nirvana" front man left his wife Courtney Love still reeling to this day from his untimely demise.
On her Instagram account, Love posted a family photo of herself, Cobain and daughter Frances Bean sitting on her father's lap. In a post in dailymail.co.uk, the "Hole" singer captioned the picture with a love note for Kurt: "Makes me feel so sad. Our baby is all grown up now. Jesus Kurt look at her face, what on earth were you thinking..!?!? God I miss you, we all miss you." She then added to her post the hastags "family," "memories," "turnbacktime" and "lovehim."
The same report from dailymail.co.uk mentioned how Cobain was found dead from a shotgun wound to the head in his house in Seattle on April 1994. It was after he was released from rehab for drug addiction.
In a related post in nme.com, it was noted that Courtney Love's emotional messages for her late husband came after their daughter Frances celebrated her 23rd birthday on August 18.
Courtney and daughter Frances produced a documentary about the most important man of their lives titled "Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck." Frances served as the executive producer of her father's documentary. The director of the film, Brett Morgen, said the movie's soundtrack will be released on November 6 and will feature Cobain's unreleased songs. Makers of the album noted it was some sort of a "solo album" for the late "All Apologies" singer. Morgen said: "You really get a sense of how happy he was simply by creating himself. His lyrics are really playful, and, at times, you can feel his smile and warmth coming through."
