New Orleans has seen better days after the hurricane Katrina hit the city. It has been 10 years since the deadliest storm destroyed all the properties and had taken lives of the residents. Today, though there might be some traces of the horrible calamity, but New Orleans has risen from it.

Zillow reports that New Orleans has struggled very greatly in the aftermath of the deadliest hurricane. The residents have fought not only against the flood and other natural disaster but also the bureaucracy with the government.

However, after 10 years, Hope and renewal are seen in the lives of the people including the real estate market. There are already beautiful houses that are built and sold in the market for a good price. Zillow and Realtor have the list.

At this time, a house in the West End of New Orleans is sold in the market for $495,000. It is a newly constructed house. The major feature that is listed in the large front porch, Jacuzzi tub and hardwood floors.

A much expensive house is listed in Touro, New Orleans that is sold for $675,000. It is also a newly built home. The property brags for its master suite with a walk-in closet plus a soaking tub and extra-large shower. According to the list, the flooring is made of reclaimed heart of pine.

There is also a property in Lakeview that is really charming. It is in the market for $499,000. The house has a high ceiling and a covered back porch. Its attic is designed for expansion, like having two more bedrooms and a bath.

If one is looking for a property in Central City in New Orleans. Then there is a good real estate property waiting for its right buyer. It is listed for $325,000. This newly built property features hardwood floors, spacious closets and high ceilings.
