Grand Theft Auto V (GTA 5) will definitely become meatier with its "exciting new gameplay", though unspecified, by next month. As online players are given new stuff to do - new guns, cars, and jobs, it is also nice to see the continuous growth of the classic core of the multiplayer GTA experience - ordering jet delivery and using it to shoot heat-seeking missiles at you, running over strangers who respawn.
A major part of the September update will be the addition of the Rockstar Editor to the present gen console of GTA 5. PS4 ad Xbox One players will now be able to start making their own productions in what was once a movie maker exclusive to PC, plus a wide array of features that will widen and improve cinematic options.
Among the features offered are:
1. Tons of new sound effects and ambient audio that will liven up your scenes;
2. Three times as many fonts you can use for your title cards;
3. Copy and paste functions for audio settings from one area of the project to another.
The Director Mode, on the other hand, will benefit from a number of convenience updates that include:
1. Bigger minimap that comes with blips for preset locations;
2. The facility to produce air and water vehicles ;
3. The choice to lock the time of the day to a particular period (no more shooting day for night!);
4. The ability to export any still frame from within the editor to Snapmatic, hence one's photographic aspirations need not be held back by time or gravity.
Rockstar Editor is a fully featured movie-making function specified for a particular version of the game. It was developed for some specific and incredible stuff - from glitch-based comedies to full-on films thru official and actual music videos. Rockstar Editor is coming soon to PS4 and Xbox One.
