Images of the Next Generation 'Moto 360' Smartwatch Leaked

Motorola's next-generation Moto 360 smartwatch has been seen in a couple of images. A source reports that one leak was from a Reddit user. The said Reddit user has posted an image of a possible next generation Moto 360 watch that features a circular design, a gold dial and a leather wristband. NDTV Gadgets quotes what the reddit user wrote, "This photo was taken right behind the Merchandise Mart in Chicago today. She was walking down the street when I noticed the lugs and grabbed a pic. Too difficult to check for the flat tire."

The other leak was said to have been posted by a Google+ user, according to the same source. On both "leaked" images, it was observed that the new Moto 360 sports a power button housed at the 2 o'clock position. In contrast, the original Moto 360 smartwatch featured the power button placed at 3 o'clock position. Furthermore, both images seemed to have been taken in Chicago city where Motorola has its headquarters. NDTV Gadgets says that the leaked images were first reported by DroidLife, posting pictures of the two versions of the said Moto 360 watches where one appears as an all-black model with Black leather straps, and another with a Cognac band and Rose Gold casing.

Images of the next generation Moto 360 smartwatch has been spotted in the wild several times now. According to Droid Life, neither person who spotted watches thought it would be a good idea to have a little chat with the wearers. Needless to say that in the leaked images, the black bar or a.k.a. "flat tire" is still present, likely storing the same ambient light sensor as last year. There are no rumors as to when Motorola plans to announce new Moto 360 but basing on these leaks, it may be very soon.
