"Suicide Squad" has been making a buzz since its first teaser was released. Though they may seem like super villains, "Suicide Squad" Harley Quinn and Captain Boomerang did something that made the headlines.
Elite Daily reported that after the wrap of their shoot in Toronto, Margot Robbie who played Harley Quinn and Jai Courtney who played Captain Boomerang took time off from their tiring shoot. Both celebrities scheduled a visit to a lemonade stand run by Na'ama Uzan, a five-year-old girl selling lemonades for a cause.
Na'ama has been manning the lemonade stand since 2014 as per CTV. She set up the booth to help raise money for her brother's [Nadav] medical condition. Nadav has been suffering from Angelman syndrome which affects his ability to walk and as well as his speech. The disorder also triggers him to have frequent epileptic seizures.
As per reports, Na'ama was already able to rise as more than $64,000 for the Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics just by selling lemonades which cost 50 cents a cup.
Both celebrities were moved by Na'ama's heroic gesture towards patient's suffering from the disorder. Jai Courtney then told the press that: "I heard about Na'ama's story and what she's doing for her brother Nadav. There's no act too small when you're talking about making a difference."
Margot Robbie then added: "I used to do little stands like this when I was little and I'd just spend the profits on lollies at the corner store, I'm glad she's doing something far nobler with the cause."
When Na'ama was asked about her cause, she then happily answered: "all the Angelman kids will be able to talk and not have seizures and epilepsy."
