'Demi Lovato', 'Pharrell', 'Macklemore' and 'Ryan Lewis' are Added to VMA's Performers' Circle

MTV Video Music Awards is one of the most anticipated music event / awards night every year. Everyone's excited as to who are going to perform on that exciting night.

According to latimes.com, Demi Lovato, Macklemore, Ryan Lewis and Pharrell Williams will be joining the roster of performers for the awards night. Some of them are VMA regulars while others are first- timers in taking the stage of VMA on fire. Also, Kanye West will receive the highest honor from MTV, Video Vanguard Video, for his contributions and impact on the visual medium but it still unclear whether he'll attend the event or not.

Several artists have numerous nominations including Taylor Swift, Beyonce and Ed Sheeran, who lead the nominations for the VMA. Taylor Swift has 9 nominations, Beyonce has 5 and Sheeran has 6 nominations.

According to mtv.com, this may be the first time for Demi Lovato to perform in the main stage of MTV's VMA. However, Demi has a track record in adding glamour to VMA's night. Back in 2012, she performed her song "Give Your Heart a Break" where she sang under a rain of red confetti hearts and won at the same night for Moonman for Best Video With a Message for her song "Skyscraper."

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis are back this year after their performance with Mary Lambert and Jennifer Hudson of "Same Love." The song have won an award of Best Video with A Social Message. Their night ended in a more celebratory note when they won Best Hip Hop Video and Best Cinematography for "Can't Hold Us."

As for Pharrell Williams, it will be the first time he will perform at VMA stage as a solo artist. Before, he performed with Diddy, Busta Rhymes and Ginuwine for the medley of "Bad Boy for Life" and Pass the Courvoisier" last 2002 and he performed with Pussycat Dolls and Ludacris for "Money Maker" last 2006.
