Mike Wallace's Park Avenue Home Listed for $20M

The late host of "60 Minutes" Mike Wallace Park Avenue apartment is on the market for $20 million.

According to the New York Times, Wallace died in June at the age of 93, but his wife, Mary Yates, continued to live in the apartment until she died at the age of 93. Then it was taken over by Wallace's fourth wife, Mary Yates, who also lived there until her death in September, at the age of 83.

The luxurious pad at 730 Park Avenue, No.15-16A, is a 12-room apartment with vintage and cork flooring. The conditions of the house has been kept the same and preserved throughout the years. The apartment was designed in 1929 by Lafayette A. Goldstone and F. Burrall Hoffman Jnr.

The charming architecture of the apartment is detailed, the ceilings are high, the grand staircase is curving, and French doors connect the library and the master bedroom to terraces on both levels.

The New York Times confirmed that the house is listed by John Burger and Fritzi Kallop of Brown Harris Stevens. The monthly maintenance fee for the condo is $8,822.

Wallace was a true and inspirational broadcast journalist whose career bloomed when at "60 Minutes" and was there for four decades.
