"Teen Wolf" cast member Marisol Nichols recently revealed whether or not Malia's mom will return for an unlikely reunion. In an interview with TV Line, Nichols revealed that she initially thought she already filmed her finale episode for Season 5. However, she received a call and will start shooting again next week.
"No, I actually thought my episode was the season finale; we all thought that. But then it changed, so I start shooting again next week. I didn't meet any of the other actors except for Tyler Posey, who couldn't have been nicer," she said.
Meanwhile, Nichols also talked about the impressive fan base of "Teen Wolf" and her relationship with them. According to the actress, all of the "Teen Wolf" fans are absolutely amazing.
"I was a little scared because I started getting so many tweets after that first announcement - like, an insane outpouring from fans. So I thought, 'Wow, people really love this show... They're going to hate me!' But they've been supportive: 'I love you, but please don't hurt Malia," she said.
Nichols also admitted that she didn't know what Malia's mom would require her to be like. After learning that she will be playing a half-coyote half-werewolf, she immediately watched 10 episodes of the hit series to know who everyone was.
"It's a great show. The production value is amazing. It's very respectful of the audience and I'm happy to be a part of it. To be honest, I was a little worried," she said.
In other news, Nichols also talked about which cast members she would like to work with, according to Enstarz. "I'm looking forward to having scenes with Shelley Hennig, because I think those scenes are going to be really interesting. I'm sure I'll interact with Tyler Posey and probably Stlies (Dylan O'Brien), since he seems to be a caretaker of Malia," she said.
"Teen Wolf" Season 5 airs Mondays at 10 p.m. ET on MTV.
