Top Hollywood Producers Frank Marshall and Kathleen Kennedy to Sell Mandeville Canyon Residence

The powerhouse couple Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall, both big time Hollywood producers, have decided to put up their hacienda-style home in Mandeville Canyon for $9.9 million, variety.com reported.

Kennedy and Marshall bought the 0.62-acre property in 2013 for $7.5 million. The property, built in 1950s, has 5,924 square feet of space which is occupied by five bedrooms, seven baths, and about half a dozen indoor and outdoor fireplaces. The house is said to be in pristine condition since it's been well maintained.

According to variety.com, the posh home has a wide living and dining rooms than can be accessed to a connected courtyard that also acts as an outdoor living room complete with its own fireplace. But the couple added some touches of modern living by installing new cabinetry in the kitchen, a center island, stone countertops, and top of the line stainless steel kitchen equipment. The family room has an entertainment unit and bay windows that also lead to the courtyard. There are four guestrooms with one of them having its own fireplace. The back of the house has glass doors with wooden frames that leads to a terrace and the lawn where it takes guests to a swimming pool with dark flooring.

The two producers, who have more than a dozen Oscar nominations together, have been regular topics in property gossip columns particularly when they sold the Pacific Palisades mansion designed by Gwathmey Siegal in 2010.

A Yahoo! report said that the Amblin Entertainment co-founders bought the house of TV legend and one of "The Golden Girls" Bea Arthur. After being placed in the market in June for $15,925,000, it was announced that Kennedy and Marshall inked the deal with a $1 million discount. The property is listed at 7,000 square feet with five bedrooms, six baths, a gym, library, art studio and two offices. The house was built by architect Cliff May in 1946.
