Walt Disney's Former Carolwood Home Comes With $90 Million Price Tag (PICTURE)

One of the most expensive homes has just hit the market with a listing price of $90 million. According to the Los Angeles Times, this is a big deal because even in the pricey Holmby Hills area of Beverly Glen, this listing price is higher than the median home value of $1.4 million in the area.

The estate that once belonged to Walt Disney sits on North Carolwood Drive, which is near the final home of pop legend Michael Jackson.

The property went into the hands of Disney's wife after his passing. Lilly Disney continued to live there until she died. The property was then taken over by the Walt Disney Foundation, which ended up selling the home to investor Gabriel Brener.

After going through some serious construction due to asbestos concerns, the home currently measures 35,000 square feet with eight bedrooms and 17 bathrooms.

According to Zillow, the home opens with a "two-story oval foyer with plaster-veneered walls, crown molding, and statuary and verde jade marble flooring."

There is a grand staircase off to the side that leads to rows of suites used as children rooms.

"Each room in the main living area has 12-foot ceilings and 3-inch thick mahogany doors," Zillow reported.

There are also Marble fireplaces, crown molding and other high-end details around the rest of the mansion.

The home is listed by real estate agents Jay Miller and Mauricio Umansky of The Agency.
