‘Assassin's Creed: Syndicate’ Trailer: New Teaser Video Reveals Darwin and Dickens Conspiracy DLC

Ubisoft has released a new trailer fort the "Assassin's Creed: Syndicate" which features historical figures Charles Dickens and Charlies Darwin. It was reported that players will only receive the new DLC once they pre-order the video game. By pre-ordering the game, players will be able to conduct missions and act as key players in the Frye twin's underground organization, a report from Gamespot said.

Gamespot noted that in the game's mission, players will have to "defend Charles Darwin's discoveries from those who would kill to silence him, and help a friend of legendary writer Charles Dickens keep a secret that could get him killed." Players will also experience the game's new combat and stealth and they will have more ability to do physical-based evasion and crawling.

According to Gameranx, in Darwin and Dickens Conspiracy's mission, players will investigate a highly toxic plant which Dickens believes puts the people of London are in danger. Dickens is described as "the greatest novelist of the era." In the game, Darwin, the brilliant mind behind the Human Evolution Theory, will be cloaked up in trouble.

"It's perhaps a bit surreal to introduce Charles's Darwin and Dickens as pre-order exclusive characters, but 'Assassin's Creed Syndicate' has managed it with ease. 'Industrial era heavy-hitters' is definitely a new way to describe the pair who just, y'know, changed the worlds of science and literature," Gamesradar said.

"Present day storyline aside, Syndicate takes place in London, 1868, during the Industrial Revolution. Players will play as Jacob and Evie Frye, twins, who have tasked themselves with a mission to take down the ruling, rich upper class of London, so that they can put an end to the suffering of the poor, starving lower class," Gameranx said.

"Assassin's Creed Syndicate" is slated to be released on October 23 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It was said that the PC version of the game is currently only listed for "Holiday 2015."
