‘Castle’ Season 8 Spoilers: A New Baby; Ryan and Esposito Relationship Heats Off and Alexis Turning into a Young Woman

ABC's "Castle" season 8 is fast approaching and will premiere on Sept. 21. Viewers are coiled to know bits of what will happen to the mystery police drama and its characters. Spoilers were revealed for Detective Kevin Ryan (Seamus Dever), Javier Esposito (Jon Huertas), and Alexis Castle (Molly Quinn) in the series.

Alexis Castle as we've seen from the last seven episodes portrays a shun maturity and brightness for her age but has always been regarded as a child. Coming "Castle" season 8, showrunner Terence Paul Winter revealed to TV Line that Alexis will grow up into a young woman by the help of newcomer Toks Olagundoye (Hayley Shipton) on the next season.

As Winter said that Olagundoye's character will help Alexis "find herself" and the relationship between them portrays "a different kind of energy."

Meanwhile Cartermatt reports that Dever's character Kevin Ryan and Esposito (Jon Huertas) will have build-up tensions. Ryan and Esposito were always a tight tandem and Ryan even want to name his future child, Javier. This closeness however might bruised up as the two were threatened seriously due to Beckett's rise and this might cause the conflicts between the two.

TV Guide revealed the details according to Winter, he told them that, "We have some exciting news for the Ryan family: They're expecting another kid."

He also said that, "Ultimately, that's going to make Ryan even more paranoid and more excited about trying to make more money. When he sees Beckett rising up in the ranks, the boys realize it's time for them to start looking at their futures, which is going to create some tension and conflict between them."

"Castle" season 8 premieres Monday, Sept. 21 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
