'5 Seconds of Summer' Song 'Jet Black Heart' Leaked Before Premiere

"5 Seconds of Summer" yet to be released song "Jet Black Heart" was leaked. The famous Aussie pop punk band visited Shazam Top 20 last Aug. 27 for the premier of the song but it spread quickly online and according to Hollywood Life said that it was leaked hours before its scheduled premier.

"Jet Black Heart" song is the fifth track of the 5SOS album, "Sounds Good Feels Good." According to Direct Lyrics, this is the second song released after the first released "Fly Away" song. The song is described as a breakup tuned ballad with a "mid-tempo pop/rock" sound.

Some bits of lyrics of the leaked song, Pop Crush describing how the boys sung it:

"Cause I've got a jet black heart / And there's a hurricane underneath it, trying to keep us apart," the boys sing on the chorus, before making a bid for reconciliation: "I write with a poison pen / But these chemicals moving between us are the reasons to start again."

From the article of Direct Lyrics, the official "5 Seconds of Summer" Twitter announced last Aug 26. Invitations to fans to get the track pre-order in iTunes, the tweet said,

"Pre-order on iTunes now, and on Thurs at midnight. you'll get 'Jet Black Heart'. So excited for you to hear it https://5sosf.am/vjnufZ."

And they also informed the fans to stay tune for upcoming available songs and tweeted, "If you guys want to hear another track from #SoundsGoodFeelsGood THIS WEEK listen up !!"

Ashton Irwin, the band's drummer said that the new album was their "best work so far." The "Sounds Good Feels Good" album's official release is on Oct. 23, 2015.

The "5SOS" band is composed of Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford, Calum Hood, and Ashton Irwin. The pop punk/rock band is famous for songs "She Looks So Perfect," "Amnesia," "Don't Stop," and "She's Kinda Hot."
