Warning: "Arrow" Season 4 spoilers will be revealed.
"Arrow" season 4 scheduled to premiere on Oct. 7 cooks up something new to watch for Oliver Queen's ladylove, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards). Some details are revealed if Felicity will hold a new identity or the possibility of the couple having a baby.
Enstarz spoilers report that Executive Producer Wendy Mericle answered a fan's query regarding Felicity having a code name for the next season. Mericle answered that it might be a far-off impossibility as she will not be involved in warfare of evil.
Mericle said from TV Line's article, "Dig is out in the field, so there's a necessity for [him to have one]."
She also added, "But not quite yet for Felicity, although you never know. We all love the idea of her getting her out there more and being a badass. It's just a question of finding the right way to do it."
It was revealed before from previous articles that "Arrow" Season 4 will uncover more of "Olicity's" relationship. Some rumor reports by IB Times say that there might be a possibility of a baby for the two. But the said notion is a bit unlikely for a superhero that tends to save the world 24/7. Meanwhile, earlier this month it was also revealed that Charlotte Ross will be back for season 4 as Felicity's mom. How will her role be involved in the storyline next season?
Mericle also commented regarding her role as Felicity Smoak in the upcoming season and addresses that her character is somewhat "balancing" the responsibility of saving the world and her relationship with Oliver.
"What I think is so interesting is that once you help people and have served justice for so long, is that it might become an addiction to a certain extent," she said. "It's one thing to go and be happy and sit on an island, but you want to still be doing important work. So I don't know what that's going to be for them. They're going to have a balance of that and hopefully in their relationship as well." said Mericle.
