Alicia Keys Buys Eddie Murphy's New Jersey Mansion for $12 Million

Alicia Keys has found a new place for her and her baby daughter, Egypt, to call home.

The Daily News reported that the 15-time Grammy winner, her producer husband Swizz Beatz and Egypt are in contract to buy Actor Eddie Murphy's Englewood, N.J., home for $12 million.

A local real estate agent told the Daily News that the closing on the house has been delayed but the couple is almost there.

"When she does, she'll buy the two-acre lot behind the house, too," the agent told the Daily News.

Known as Bubble Hill, the five-acre brick estate was put on the market seven years ago for $30 million.

The New Jersey mansion features a bowling alley, indoor pool, marble fireplaces and private recording studio which could come in handy for the couple.

Additional features of the estate include a wood-clad spa with multiple stations for hair and makeup the mansion seems to fit the lifestyle of the singer and her husband.

Keys reportedly bought Lenny Kravitz 16-room SoHo loft on Crosby Street for $14.5 million in 2010. She put the apartment back on the market for $17.95 million.

Englewood and its nearby surroundings are known for celebrities like rapper Diddy, Yankee C.C. Sanathia, former Knicks player Patrick Ewing and fashion designer Elie Tahari, living in the area.

The location is minutes away from the George Washington Bridge.
