'Legends of Tomorrow' News and Cast Update: Falk Hentschel will be a Regular Cast on the Series

"Legends of Tomorrow" just included another familiar hero in the list and it is none other than Hawkman, who will be played by Falk Hentschel. The show's producer, Phil Klemmer first confirmed the news. When Klemmer was asked if Hawkman is really going to be a regular in the show, he answered "He is. He absolute is.''

Klemmer also assured the fans not to worry about Hawkman stealing Hawkgirl's spotlight. "It doesn't, because the way we've imagined them is that they've obviously been reincarnated through the ages together, but the fact that he remembers their previous lives and she doesn't... it gives them very much like a Bogie & Bacall sort of [relationship]," Klemmer said, as quoted by Ecumenical News.

Klemmer also revealed that Carter Hall a.k.a. Hawkman is going to debut in a crossover episode of DC's "Flash'' and "Arrow.'' According to Klemmer in an interview with DC Legends TV, "[Hawkman is] going to be in the crossover. I believe he first appears in 408." While Marvel is dominating the cinematic universe, DC is on the path to dominating the small screen, especially with the addition of the show "Legends of Tomorrow.''

According to a report by Christian Post, the casting of Danish actor Caster Crump and Falk Hentschel as the time-travelling villain Vandal Savage and superhero Hawkman respectively, has been revealed. Additional details emerge with regards to the storyline of the upcoming series "DC's Legends of Tomorrow."

Klemmer spoke with the people over at TV Line during last month's Comic-Con event about the issue of time travel itself, and this is what he said: "I don't know if we would always be moving to a new time period. I think part of the fun is living in this world and I think when we do travel to these periods of time -even though we have an uber-mission, to stop this sort of future Hitler character [Vandal Savage] - when we try to go back and fix things, we often screw things up." The series is slated to premiere in 2016.
