MTV VMA 2015 Live Stream and Updates: Miley Cyrus As Host, Nicki Minaj On Opening Performance

The red carpets will once again roll out for the MTV Video Music Awards 2015 on Sunday, Aug. 30. The 32nd edition of VMA will be held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California, International Business Times reported.

The event will be hosted by pop star Miley Cyrus, whose performance in 2013 is remembered as the most outrageous in VMA history. According to Time, VMA executive producer Garrett English said they are giving Miley free reign of the program. Definitely no rules.

Nicki Minaj, who is nominated in the "Best Hip-Hop" category, will grace the stage with an opening performance. Justin Bieber is performing with his new single that was released yesterday and Macklemore is also slated to come. Meanwhile, Taylor Swift will premiere the music video for "Wildest Dreams" and The Weeknd will perform the blockbuster "Can't Feel My Face" single. The lineup of other performers include Bruno Mars, Tori Kelly, Ryan Lewis, Twenty One Pilot and Pharrell Williams among others.

The most nominated acts this year are Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and Kendrick Lamar. Beyonce and Taylor Swift might probably get the "Video of the Year" award, Times reported. Other awards to look forward to include the "Song of the Summer" and "Artist to Watch."

Kanye West is set to receive the "Video Vanguard Award," MTV's version of a lifetime achievement award, for providing one of the most memorable moments in VMA history.

The live stream of the VMA 2015 can be seen on MTV's official YouTube channel or by logging into www.mtv.com. Live feed can also be found on MTV's social media accounts such as Twitter, Facebook, Vine, Tumblr and Instagram.
