Idina Menzel and Aaron Lohr have purchased a new Mediterranean-style house located in the Royal Oaks neighborhood in California, according to a Trulia report.
It seems that the actress and singer behind "Elsa" in the hit Disney movie "Frozen" has decided to take her relationship with the actor to the next level with the joint acquisition of the house. The would-be new home for the couple sits on a three-fourths-acre property and has abundant greenery. Its cost is $2.675 million and has five bedrooms and six baths; more than enough space for Menzel and Lohr to start a new life together.
A report from Forbes provided more details of the 4,708 square feet house. The main entrance is made from Peruvian carved doors and they open up straight into the kitchen which was given a modern update. It now has a center island, granite countertops and other high-end kitchen facilities. It was built in 1959 and it still retains the original Brazilian cherry wood flooring in the living room area.
The master bedroom has an enormous walk-in closet that Menzel would surely be delighted to fill with all her clothes. There is a spa-type tub that is separated from the rest of the spacious bathroom and shower. The house is also great for entertaining guests; glass doors slide open to the backyard where a swimming pool and a covered patio awaits.
Trulia also mentioned that the property has a great vantage point of Los Angeles city lights, as well as the canyons just below where it is located. Back in 2014, Menzel and former husband Taye Diggs listed their home in Culver City for $2.995 million. The original price of the property when they bought it in 2010 was $2.09 million. Menzel is reported to return as "Elsa" the ice queen in the second installment of the "Frozen" animated movie.
