"Glee" alum and "Scream Queens" star Lea Michele wants to be part of the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital crew. The Hollywood Life reported that the 28-year-old actress expressed her thoughts on wanting to be in the upcoming season of "Grey's Anatomy."
According to the site, in her recent interview with Flare magazine, the actress called on to Shonda Rhimes, who is the series creator. She said, "I'm ready. Put me in scrubs. I'd love a little arc. Just a little arc." She said that it was one of her "wishes" to be in the medical drama and hopes that Rhimes will respond to her call. As of writing, the producer and creator has yet to respond.
Meanwhile, actor Jason George revealed in an interview with People magazine that "Grey's Anatomy" Season 12 will have a much lighter tone but will still be emotional. George, who plays Dr. Ben Warren, Dr. Bailey's (Chandra Wilson) husband, also said that the new season will be sexier with the new hook-ups that are coming to the show.
George hinted that there will be a lot of characters who are previously not a couple who will be locking lips in the upcoming season. According to International Business Times, now that Callie (Sara Ramirez) and Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) have ended their relationship, they may be having new love affairs in the coming season.
Rhimes revealed that Meredith's (Ellen Pompeo) sisters, Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) and Maggie (Kelly McCreary), will be looking for new love affairs in the upcoming season. However, despite their make-out session in the Season 11 finale, Caterina Scorsone revealed that she and Owen (Kevin McKidd) are still going to be friends in the start of Season 12.
With new love affairs on the way, fans are also wondering about one of the existing couples in the show. Rhimes said in an interview that April's (Sarah Drew) decision to go overseas does not mean that it is over between her and Jackson (Jesse Williams).
"Grey's Anatomy" Season 12 will return on ABC on September 24.
