Earlier this month it was reported that Sherlock's (Jonny Lee Miller) father, Morland Holmes played by John Noble will be in the upcoming season 4 of "Elementary." His character as described on the previous article will try to reconcile with drug-driven son. Another new addition for the series' upcoming season is "House of Saddam" actress Shohreh Aghdashloo.
Aghdashloo's role for "Elementary's" Season 4 according to TV Line is Donya Esfandiari who will be working together with John Noble's character (Morland Holmes). As described from the article, her role will be "a glamorous international hotelier who's in negotiations with Sherlock's dad, Morland (new series regular John Noble), a consultant on the global scale."
Seemingly such spoilers for the upcoming season of "Elementary" came as a surprise, as the series toted not really giving audience many clues about the upcoming season which will premiere on Nov. 5. What would Aghdashloo's role be in significance with any of the other characters aside from Morland Holmes? Will she also produce animosity over relationships with Joan and Sherlock?
It was hinted from previous articles that Morland Holmes will create breaching relationship over Joan. And Morland's character is "a very complicated man" as described by crossmap. By then we will know who he is and what his role will ensue for Sherlock and the rest.
Aghdashloo is reported to appear in the third episode of the upcoming season of the series. Aside from starring in "Elementary," the "Grimm" and "Bones" alumna will also be starring in the upcoming series of "The Expanse."
As the fourth season is just a month away, will there be any possibility that the former love interest of Sherlock, Moriarty/ Irene (Natalie Dormer) will have a comeback for the next season?
"Elementary" Season 4 returns on Thurs. Nov. 5 on CBS.
