Leaked photos of the said next-generation iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S plus are causing a stir in the Internet. 9to5Mac has posted some new leaked photos of that have given iPhone fans a peak into the device's key new features. While comparing the leaked photos with the current iPhone 6 it appears that the upcoming device will have an upgraded FaceTime camera that has bigger sensors. Moreover, the website has also posted a photo that shows the new device has screen component implied integration of Force Touch that will shortcut common iOS functions. Force Touch is a technology that was first introduced with the Apple watch.
9to5Mac has also added that the rear camera's sensor will be 12 megapixels with the ability to shoot video in full 4K high-definition resolution. This is somehow a hug e camera upgrade from the 8 megapixel camera and 1080p videos of current iPhones and with this the rear camera is said to keep the lens protruding from the rear of the device.
With the said new features revealed from the leaked pics many may start wondering if the new features will hurt consumer pockets. In a report posted in Forbes, a source speaking to a Dutch blog TechTastic has said that there is no change in price from the current iPhone 6. With the said blog reported to have revealed that there will be no change in the European prices, it seems likely that the US launch price will be the same as 2014's model.
Hold the big smile just yet, as BGR.com has mentioned that same blog source said that even if the new iPhone will launch with the same price as last year's model, Apple will still sell a 16GB version which means that users who want bigger storage will have to spend more.
Apple will reveal the new devices on September 9th in San Francisco and hopefully by then all assumptions on the pricing will be addressed.
