‘Better Call Saul': Jonathan Banks Breaking Records with Five Emmy Awards Nominations

It seems that hard work does pays off. The TV series 'Better Call Saul' was included as an Emmy Nominee. According to a previous article by thewrap, "Jonathan Banks has received a Best Supporting Actor Emmy nomination for playing Mike Ehrmantraut on two different shows, "Breaking Bad" and spinoff "Better Call Saul," but the actor hopes that's where the character's journey stops."

It appears that Jonathan Banks has had a lot of diversity in his acting career and it is shown in the way he has incorporated those roles to life. Even the creators of the show has seen their labor and are enjoying their well-earned comforts. According to a recent article by Fansided, "Better Call Saul creator Vince Gilligan and his colleague, Peter Gould, have been hard at work piecing together the parts of the spinoff's second season and the pair is probably pretty ecstatic about the nominations Better Call Saul has received for the approaching Emmys.

As the Emmys are fast approaching, the two sat down for an interview with the Hollywood Reporter. One question that popped up in the interview by Fansided, was, "which characters on the show they'd like to drink with." Gilligan seemed unfazed when coming up with his answer: "Easy. Kim Wexler if I was single, and no question" as noted by Fansided.

Peter Gould was asked next on which character he would drink but unlike his colleague, the co-creator was meeker in his response and according to a recent article by Fansided, "Gould didn't seem too confident that the conversation would be exciting, but he could end up getting hurt in the process."

The season was a hit when it was released and it seems the crew and its creators are pumped up to continue in doing better. The Better Call Saul crew is presently based in Albuquerque, New Mexico as they get season two ready to hit the prime time.
