The Simpsons: “Realty Bites” The Hail Murray?; The Susquehanna Shuffle?; The Ol’ Buff and Bluff?

Everyone knows the Simpsons but it seem like that realty is not ideal job for the family. According to a recent article by kisspanda, "The series is a satirical depiction of a middle class American lifestyle epitomized by the Simpson family, which consists of Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie and the show is set in the fictional town of Springfield and parodies American culture, society, television, and many aspects of the human condition."

The show shows a depiction of how hard reality can bite and how hard realty business is. According to a recent publication by avclub, "It's established quickly that real estate is not a business that suits Marge Simpson. She's not smooth like Nick Callahan, cutthroat like Cookie Kwan, or desperate like Lionel Hutz or Gil."

Why? Marge Simpson is honest to a fault and she is Marge to the core. "Realty Bites" succeeds because it doesn't invent anything about Marge and it presents a fresh take on the character using the things we already know about her as further reported by avclub. Marge's character is sincere, modest, trustworthy, and lethally square.

The show is all about dealing with the different aspects in life and the lessons that comes with it. Marge on the other hand learned how the realty business is difficult and complicated. Even her husband of it. According to a recent article by avclub, "Getting up from the table, Homer twists the satirical knife and said, kids, your mother's under a lot of pressure, Why don't we let her clear the table in peace?"

With all that has been said and done, if "Realty Bites" goes easy on Marge, it recompenses by discarding on Gil at every chance. The show is a direct display of how Marge should say goodbye to the real estate industry and focus on the areas that best fits her character.
