The American music industry executive and current Chief Executive Officer of Lava Records, Jason Flom, is now selling his mini-mansion located in Aspen for $7,875,000 according to an article in Ebuzzword.
In a Variety news article, the original price of Flom's property was listed at $8.25 million. The said mini-mansion though was given a substantial price-chop to $7.875 million just recently. The property is in nearly three-quarters of an acre, situated in the fancy-pants Glen Eagles neighborhood, which is just about 2.5 miles outside of downtown.
In June 2004, Mister Flom and Wendy Berry Flom, his estranged wife and former A&R executive had purchased the said property for $6.475 million. The present listing details show the Aspin mini-mansion measures 7,806 square feet with six bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms. Joined by a dining room is a double-height living room with massive stone fireplace and 3 towering walls of windows. The dining room is open to a roomy and well-equipped stylistically quotidian center island kitchen. The mini-mansion also includes 'a bar area as well as a built-in entertainment unit with supersized television'.
The guest and family bedrooms have direct access to the outdoors. Also the upper-level elegant master suite opens to a private deck with freestanding spa. The landscaped areas around the mini-mansion, which is surrounded by dense woods, have tree-shaded terraces, rolling lawns, flowering gardens, a second spa set at the woods' edge, a sunken trampoline, a ski-lift gondola hanging from a custom mount and a half-court basketball court.
Mister Jason Flom was the former CEO of Atlantic, Capital and Virgin Records. Now, he is the CEO of Lava Records, a company he founded. Although Jason Flom may not be a household name outside the music industry, he was described by the New Yorker in 2012 as "one of the most successful record men of the past 20 years."
In an article on Billboard, Flom disputes that his net worth is $100M after he posted photos from concerts with his kids Allison and Michael.
