Iggy Azalea and Demi Lovato joined forces for a new remix of the Top 20 hit!
Demi made her VMA live debut last August 30 to perform her latest hit "Cool For The Summer". She brought her pal Iggy with her who also gave an all out performance at the VMAs. Demi started the summer song in a beach chair with male dancers soon joining her. Before the second chorus, Demi stabbed a huge cherry piñata! Then, Iggy comes in as a good surprise, although Iggy's appearance was already teased in the introduction of the telecast. Iggy then delivered her beat with her back on Demi's sultry dance moves. For the grand finale, Demi floated on an inflatable boat, with confetti around.
The performance was so great that even Taylor Swift looked really impressed as she watched them. She couldn't take her eyes away from the stage and her pal Selena Gomez clapped along as the two shared whispers to each other. As Demi hits the bridge of the song, Taylor had her jaws dropped! When Demi belted out, Taylor's face screamed "Bravo!". As she smiled, she looked like she's doing her best not to stand up and rock out a dance routine!
"Cool For The Summer" has reached number sixteen on the Hot 100 charts after it was released in July 1. Right now the song is at number 17. Demi has been unstoppable in the recent years as she also crashed the Top 20 with her Joe Jonas collaboration called, "This Is Me". Her songs "Here We Go Again", "Skyscraper", "Give your Heart A Break", and "Heart Attack", also did well on the charts. Last week, Demi announced that her follow up album "Confident" will be released this October 16 through Hollywood Records. She will collaborate with Iggy on this album with a track called "Kingdom Come".
