Ruth Kearney and boyfriend Theo James are being rumored to be having relationship problems as Ruth is still jealous of Theo's co-star Shailene Woodley.
Fans of "Divergent: Allegiant" are well aware that Theo is in a relationship, but some people couldn't help but wonder if his chemistry with Shailene can lead to romance if both of them are single. Rumors suggest that Ruth has always been distrusting when it comes to Shailene, and it was said that even before everyone signed their contracts for the movie, there were already reports implying that the two are in an affair.
Since the start of the movie project, Ruth has been wanting to demand that Theo stays away from Shailene. However, the actress needs to live with Ruth's jealousy as she and Theo may have to continue to stay sweet to each other on-cam, to make sure that the movie franchise sells.
Now that the two are expected to appear in multiple interviews for the film's promotion, it is expected that fans would be craving to hear about the two stars' relationship. Fans may also have high expectations that the two actors will have off-screen chemistry. In an interview, Theo did share something sweet in reference to Shailene. He said "I have a thing for pretty legs." He also said, "Most importantly, I like confident women. It's probably because I grew up with four strong women, my mother, my grandmother, and two sisters". Theo has also previously said that he did enjoy his on screen kiss with Shailene. He even teased her that they should practice the kissing scenes repeatedly. This may have also infuriated Ruth. If the jealousy rumors are true, Ruth is still up for watching more publicity stunts for the movie which can make her even more furious.
Nonetheless, on-screen chemistry is the most important thing to make a movie as realistic as it can get. If the actors can do it well, it is almost certain that the movie will sell big time! However, the success of the film does not assure their success in their personal lives, specifically their personal relationships.
