Real Estate Mogul Sean Ludwick Escape Death In Fatal Porsche Crash; But Didn't Escape DWI Charges

Real Estate mogul Sean Ludwick has escaped from a fatal Porsche crash in Sag Harbor on early Sunday morning. However, his only passenger Paul Hansen, 53, died instantly. Ludwick is now facing DWI charges.

Patch reports that real estate magnate and a prominent NYC real estate developer Sean Ludwick, 42 years old, had crashed his 2013 Porsche into a telephone pole early Sunday morning. Police report says that Ludwick drove his Porsche on Rolling Hill Court East around 2 a.m. He lost control of the car and crashed into the pole.

The accident has killed the real estate agent Paul Hansen. According to the report the crash happened in front of Hansen's home. Hansen had worked at Douglas Elliman's company in Sag Harbor.

It was also reported that Ludwick has been "accused of leaving Hansen lying in the road and driving away on two flat tires." An arrest followed after the police stopped him in the nearby area.

Gothamist says that when the crash happened, the body of Hansen has been thrown from the vehicle. That also explains the police report stating that Real Estate mogul Sean Ludwick was trying to flee from the scene after his Porsche crashed into the telephone pole. The online magazine also recalls the arrest of Ludwick last year after "he broke into his ex-girlfriend's apartment and drew penises on artwork he had painted himself and given to her as gifts."

NY Post says that Paul Hansen is survived by his wife and two sons. Posts also reveals that Ludwick "has been also in trouble in Martha's Vineyard.

As of present, the business magnate faces arraignment in Southampton Town Justice Court on Monday. He is also "being held in jail on $500,000 cash bail or $1 million bond" for driving while intoxicated and running away from the scene of a fatal accident.
