At the MTV Video Music Awards, Taylor Swift presented Kanye West with the Video Vanguard Award as recognition for the sensational rapper's remarkable body of work. On the other hand Radar Online reports that a source close to Taylor Swift says that the pop singer got way more than what she expected after Kanye went impromptu, putting things in a totally different position than what they had initially discussed.
Furthermore, Radar Online tells that Swift started to panic as Kanye went ahead with free-form acceptance speech, which included references to his status as "one of music's most hated and misunderstood artists" and his plans to run for president in 2020. She and her group decided to take action with no intent of leading Kanye back to his supposed original speech. Moreover Radar Online says that a source has shared, "She said she went into tunnel vision when he started going off script and that she tried to put distance between her and Kim. Her publicist had them kill planned shots to her once he went off course." The said source continued by saying, "(Swift) said 'it could have be worse' but luckily it wasn't about her even though he had agreed to apologize but didn't."
This is not the first time that Kanye and Swift had made on an MTV VMA's. It can be recalled back in 2009 that Kanye had stopped Swift midway during her acceptance speech and said, "I'm really happy for you, I'm gonna let you finish, but Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time." Since then Radar said that Swift capitalized on her role as the damsel in distress, using the attention to drive herself into becoming the most dominant female voices in music. The country singer seems to be out of control lately as she continuously keeps getting herself into a feud with other known names in the industry.
