'Grimm' Season 5 Spoilers & Premiere Date: Two New Characters To Change Course Of The Story; Tension Increases Between Nick & Hank

As "Grimm" comes back for Season 5, the story will take on a different turn with the arrival of two new characters in the show. According to Christian Post, it was earlier confirmed that "Scream" star Carlson Young will be joining the cast for Season 5.

Young will be playing Selina Golias who is the only survivor from the attack of the Wesen Feud. It was reported that her boyfriend was one of the people who died from the attack and now she is on the run to save herself from the Wesen King.

Another new character who will have an important role in the story is Nick (David Giuntoli) and Adalind's (Claire Coffee) baby. According to executive producer Jim Kouf, Nick and Adalind will work together to protect their baby. He also added that their child will also be the reason for some important changes in their relationship. Showrunner David Greenwalt added that with the arrival of his child, a lot of things are also going to happen to Nick personally.

With some of his friends returning, it seems like Nick will also have problems with other people like Hank Griffin. Russell Hornsby, who plays Hank, revealed some teasers about Hank's current relationship with his partner Nick. During the 2015 Comic-Con event, Hornsby said that there will be a lot of tension between Nick and Hank in Season 5 and this will be one of the reasons why Nick will decide to work on his own.

Hornsby expressed his thoughts about this and said that he is not against the idea of creating a conflict between the two characters. According to Movie News Guide, the 41-year-old actor thinks that with this conflict, there will be more emotional connection between the two.

"Grimm" Season 5 will air on NBC on October 30.
