Avid fans of the "Deadpool" video game can enjoy a remastered version for PS4 and Xbox One. The game will be officially released on November 17.
GameStop announced this development via Twitter on August 3. The game will be sold for only $50, and it will include all additional free downloadable contents with two extra levels and two alternate suits, a report from iDigital Times said on Tuesday.
Latin Post reports that the game's DLC features two new maps: the GRT Plaza and Inside the Tower, included in the "Merc With A Map Pack." Aside from this, additional costumes for the game include D-Pooly and Uncanny X-Force.
It was said that the game was first released on June 25, 2013 for PS3 and Xbox 360. The PC version of the game was made available through Steam, a popular digital gaming distributor.
Gamezone has listed below all the things included in "Deadpool's" narration:
- "LET'S GET SOME ACTION: I made sure to capture all my good sides, so I made my game a third-person, action-shooter. (Yep, you get to look at my heinie.)
- X-MEN GROUPIES: Keep a look out cuz some of my X-Men pals (Whoa, What Pals?!) are making an appearance.
- INSANE COMBAT: I'm really good at killing, so I made it a blast stringing together combos and totally eviscerating my enemies. (Ev-is-cer-a-ting!)
- WEAPONS GALORE: I brought my skills and a buttload of my favorite things. Katanas (check), guns (bang!), explosives (boom), duct tape (quack), and of course, yours truly - ME! (Checkmate!)
- Bonus Content: I'm giving you even more ME! I'm including the DLC (2 sweet levels & 2 alternate suits!) from the old platforms. Consider it my gift to you, my #1 fan!"
"Behind Deadpool's demented humor, creative script, and brilliant sight gags is a fairly conventional, generic action game. It's not bad, but it's not particularly good, either - and without oodles of hidden secrets or unlockables to discover, there's really no reason to replay it once you've finished. Developer High Moon gets the character and brings the funny, but none of the action finesse that would make Deadpool stand out," reads an excerpt game review of Gamespot.
