The "Livin' la Vida loca" star, Ricky Martin is reportedly purchasing a brand new home on the Upper East Side in New York for $5.9 million.
The plush 4 bedroom, 4 1/2 bathroom residence located at 170 East End Ave. is designed by Peter Marino. The room measures around 3,147 square feet with park views, complete marble flooring, floor-to-ceiling windows, a dine-in kitchen, customized cabinets and counters made of Swiss quartzite. The four bedrooms also sport floor to ceiling windows with travertine and marble finishes, reports the New York Post.
Martin's building boasts of luxurious amenities like a squash court, pilates room, yoga studio, library and children's playroom. A 40-seater screening room is also one of the attractions. Apart from the aforementioned amenities, a golf simulator, an arcade room and a high tech modern fitness center adds to the lavishness of the building, reports Realestalker.
In December 2007, Martin had offered his beach front mansion in Miami for sale and demanded a list price of $ 22.5 million, which he brought from $16.25 million. The house was a 12-room mansion and included 7 bathrooms. However, the mansion was sold for $12.8 million in November 2012, around $3.45 million less than what he brought the mansion for, reports Realestalker.
Martin already owns a residence in Dorado, Puerto Rico. Rumor has it that he also owns a house in Madrid and a private island residence in Rio de Janeiro, reports Realestalker.
