'Chicago Fire' Season 4 Spoilers & Premiere Date: New Trailer Reveals Casey In Trouble While Voight Tracks Down His Kidnappers

In the new promotional video for "Chicago Fire" Season 4, fans will finally learn the real story behind Matt Casey's (Jesse Spencer) disappearance. It was earlier reported that Season 4 will begin with the events after Casey got kidnapped when he went to go undercover and investigate a seedy strip club.

According to Christian Today, the teaser video shows Dawson (Monica Raymund) finding a dead woman in Casey's apartment. This prompted her to call Voight (Jason Beghe) for help. Voight then asks the help of the District Police's finest people to find Casey. In the trailer, Casey can be seen very much alive, but he is in very big trouble.

Casey was trying to help his team capture the people involved in the human trafficking ring in the city. Casey started to investigate by doing undercover work, but the trouble began when some of the felons spotted him talking with a police in the parking lot. Executive producer Matt Olmstead revealed in an interview that Casey will do everything in order to survive. He confirmed that Casey will escape the situation, but it will leave an emotional mark on him.

Meanwhile, Design & Trend reported that Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney) will be having his own problems in Season 4. According to the site, his management skills will be questioned because of the high turnover rate of the crew. He will reportedly be forced to go to a management training program which follows his demotion. In the program, it was reported that Kelly will be meeting someone and will enjoy a brief romance with the woman.

It was earlier reported that "The Vampire Diaries" alum Steven McQueen will be joining the cast as Jimmy Borelli, and Olmstead said that joining the crew won't be easy for the young firefighter. A veteran will reportedly try to help him out.

"Chicago Fire" will return to NBC on October 13.
