Harry Smith Enters Williamsburg’s “The Edge” Neighborhood

Harry Smith, the former presenter of CBS' "The Early Show," has recently moved into a brand new Penthouse that he purchased for 1.84 million in the neighborhood of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The penthouse is in the LEED certified building- The Edge.

The residence is a 2 bedroom and a 2.5 bathroom condominium that is spread across an area of 1795 Square feet. The place is wrapped by a cozy balcony and a private terrace on the roof, reports Daily News.

The Edge is laden with luxury amenities some of which include a golf simulator, a basketball court, a heated pool and a relaxing spa. The building also featured in a HBO series called "Girls", reports Curbed.

The place was earlier priced for around $1,835,000 but was finally sold for $1,837,941.25 precisely to Smith, reports Curbed.

Harry Smith hosted "The Early Show" on CBC for 17 years and now works as a contributor at NBC News. He was also a contributor to The CBC Evening News with Dan Rather, 48 Hours and some other documentaries.

Smith, who used to live on the Upper west side will now be joining NY1 TV anchor, Pat Kieran who also owns a home in Williamsburg. Kieran sold his Upper west side residence earlier in July, 2012 for $3.8 million and purchased a 4 bedroom and 2.5 bathroom house on Bedford Avenue, Williamsburg for $ 2 million, reports Curbed.
