Fans got shocked and were terrified when the celebrity model, Janice Dickinson, suddenly fell unconscious. Janice appeared to have collapsed after she had suffered from an allergic reaction to a bee sting according to a news report on the DailyNews.com. This happened live during Tuesday's broadcast inside the 'Celebrity Big Brother UK' house when she was sitting in the Diary Room.
As reported on TMZ.com, Dickinson begged producers to bring an EpiPen while showing one of her hands which turned almost purple. Shortly after she showed her swollen and purple hands to a producer, she panicked and said: "I don't want it to reach my heart." She began to have trouble breathing, which was followed by a seizure, before she fell of the seat. She was immediately rushed to a hospital for treatment and was then returned to the house a couple of hours later according to a representative of 'Celeb BB'.
Dickinson's representative told the Daily News that Janice is now feeling a lot better right after her health scare. "She's all good. Channel 5 (the network that airs 'Celebrity Big Brother') got her to be looked after. "She is back in the game and true to form in pure Janice style," the rep said.
As cited on the website of the Daily News, "Celebrity Big Brother" fans were totally upset seeing Dickinson's seizure broadcast on the show, and even mouthed off on Twitter. One fan wrote: "Without a doubt Janice having a fit was one of the most horrifying things I've seen on reality TV. "That shouldn't have been shown." Another fan tweeted: "How are #CBB showing Janice having a fit??!! Thats really bad of them if i'm honest made me sad."
The televised medical emergency of Janice Dickinson is in fact the latest controversy for the U.K. reality show. The show though must go on!
