"Dance Moms" Season 6 is already embroiling with issues and controversies as Kalani Hilliker recently spoke up and revealed that some parts of the show were staged to make it seem more dramatic for the fans and viewers. Maddie Ziegler, on the other hand, admitted that she tried to reach out to Chloe Lukasiak, but the latter ignored her message. Is the competition still heating up between the two dancers?
Lifetime reality series "Dance Moms" does not go without any sort of drama in every episode. While Abby Lee Miller and the moms of the kids are usually the ones involved in these sorts of drama, fans recently slammed the Abby Lee Dance Company (ALDC) leader for backing out of her word and not giving Nia Sioux Frazier a solo at Nationals.
Miller promised before the start of the competition that whoever wins the first place will be awarded a solo. However, when Frazier won over Kalani Hilliker, Miller immediately backed out of her word and gave Hilliker the chance to do a solo.
While Miller was heavily slammed on social media, Hilliker recently revealed that she was still awarded a solo and that the scene was just simply omitted on TV.
"I actually did a solo at nationals. It just wasn't aired on TV, but Mackenzie [Ziegler] and I actually did do solos," she told OK! Magazine.
While it looks like this drama only stayed in front of the cameras, things do not look the same for Maddie Ziegler and Chloe Lukasiak. Ziegler and Lukasiak are two of the show's best dancers, but the latter decided to leave the show after Season 4. The two stars have always been the best of friends, but they have also been competing against each other for so long.
In an interview with In Touch (via Bustle), Ziegler admitted that things have changed between her and Lukasiak. The 12-year-old dancer, who starred in Sia's music videos for "Chandelier" and "Elastic Heart," admitted that she tried to reach out to Lukasiak, but the latter ignored her text.
"I just want to say that I miss her so much but I guess she hasn't thought to text back... I feel like I've definitely lost a friend," Ziegler said.
