When "Pretty Little Liars" returns for the second half of Season 6, fans will know what the girls have been doing in the last five years. Despite answering many questions in the summer finale, there are still a lot of mysteries behind Mrs. DiLaurentis' murder.
According to the International Business Times, executive producer Marlene King revealed in an interview that aside from the existing mysteries, there will be a new one as the show comes back for the second half of the season. However, she did not elaborate much on what kind of mystery it is, but it was earlier reported that there will be a new villain to mess with the girls' lives in the second half of Season 6. She added that the story that they have now will most likely end in Season 7.
Meanwhile, Design & Trend reported what the girls have been doing for the last five years. ABC Family recently released some photos from the second half of the season, one of which shows Emily (Shay Mitchell) and Toby (Keegan Allen) in a conversation while having a drink. According to reports, there is a huge chance that Emily will rekindle her friendship with Toby as they rely on each other.
There is also a photo of Spencer (Troian Bellisario) with her mom Veronica (Lesley Fera) and her sister Melissa (Torrey DeVitto). It seems like Spencer will be entering the world of politics as there could be a chance that her mom would be running for office. According to reports, it is most likely that Spencer will be helping her mom for her campaign as she pursued a political degree and graduated in Georgetown.
Meanwhile, it was also reported that Hanna (Ashley Benson) will be engaged; however, it is still unclear if it is with Caleb (Tyler Blackburn).
The second half of Season 6 of "Pretty Little Liars" will air on ABC in January.
