According to the newly released figures from Britain's Companies House the Brit singer is currently earning £15,000 a day. Earning that huge amount a day and a rumored new girlfriend, Ed Sheeran is definitely on cloud nine.
Dan Wootton of the The Sun reports that his latest accounts for the singer's company Ed Sheeran Limited show that he earned £5,679,456 in pre-tax profits last year, which equates to £15,560 a day. To add more to that, the singer was able to double his in the past year which shows that he earned £2,960,176.
The hitmaker made a £2.9 million ($4.5 million) in the year ending December 2014, which means that he almost doubled his income in 2014, that's according to Mirror. Majority of his earnings last year came from constant tours which includes three nights at Wembley Stadium and two at Dublin's Croke Park. Aside from that, his last album entitled "X" was a big hit, and was hitting the top charts both in the United States and the United Kingdom.
One source who happened to be close to the "Thinking Out Loud" singer said that, "Ed is one of the hardest-working musicians in the business. He's played a staggering number of tour dates in the past year or two. This figure is a glimpse of what he's earned from X and his tour. This time next year these figures - which are already huge - will be even bigger."
The 24-year-old singer is also the founder of both Gingerbread Man Records Limited and Sidewind Limited. The record breaking singer said, "I've always loved endorsing acts from the very beginning and I get to work with artists I truly believe in."
Being out on a date with a pretty Brit plus a huge increase to his financial assets can definitely put a big smile on his face. It seems like a budding romance is up for Ed and school pal, Cherry Seaborn. According to E! News, the two were spotted three times dating around New York in just a matter of two days.
Ed's love-life has been "non-existent" after he was linked to Irish model, Louise Johnston. It was during co-hosting Capital London's Breakfast Show in July that he speaked up and said that he hasn't had any romantic involvements after his break up with ex-girlfriend Athina Andrelos back in March.
