In "The Young and the Restless" Sept. 8 episode, Ashley finds out that Jack and Victor have decided to work together while Phyllis has an altercation with Joe.
In a recap by Soaps, Jack tells Ashley that he made a pact with the devil after she tells him that the computers are still down at Jabot. Ashley is hoping that it is not Victor but Jack told her that he and Victor have made a deal to work together on the Paragon Project. Jack thinks somebody is coming after both their companies. She says she's worried that Victor will have no choice but to agree with the mastermind to topple down Jabot.
Jack told her that he will get to the bottom of the problem and find out who is responsible before making any move. Ashley does not like the idea and finally the computer starts to work. They wished luck on each other as Jack compliments her on an online deal.
Meanwhile, Cane learns nothing new about Hilary's disappearance but he declares he will not leave the island until he locates her and clear the name of Devon. Michael is arguing with Devon on the phone whether it is wise to offer a big reward or not. Devon says she will do whatever is necessary. Michael then goes to Cain who is on his way to the prosecutor's office. He joins him and when they get there discussed details about the case.
Later in a bar, a man tells Cane about Hilary and he shares the information with Michael. Hilary is unconscious in a boathouse with Neil who rants about love and revenge. At the club, Ashley tells Phyllis about Jack's involvement in the Paragon Project. Neil joins Devon at the Dive Bar. Neil tries to make Devon feel guilty and Devon thanks him for his support.
Phyllis confronts Jack about joining Victor and he tries to assure her. She is unconvinced. Finally, Neil is back at the boathouse with Hilary and continues to talk with her until he realizes the saline drip is running on empty. And then he panics.
