Emily Ratajkowski Blurred Lines: ‘Gone Girl’ Star Feels Distressed With Music Video That Made Her Famous

Emily Ratajkowski's "Blurred Lines" music video landed her a role in her first Hollywood movie, "Gone Girl." She even secured a feature in the 2014 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. In short, Robin Thicke's video made her famous, but the 24-year-old wants everyone to know that's she's clearly over it now.

In her interview with InStyle UK, the model called the 2013 video the "bane of her existence." However, Ratajkowski said that it has been three years already and she wants to move on to focus on new projects.

"I wasn't into the idea at all at first," the actress told the UK magazine. "I think I came off as a bit annoyed in the video. Now it's the bane of my existence. When anyone comes up to me about 'Blurred Lines,' I'm like, are we seriously talking about a video from three years ago?"

According to the London-born actress, she has no problem with nudity. Ratajkowski told the magazine she can't figure out why others had a problem with her when she did the popular "Blurred Lines" video. She thinks it's weird that the reaction to a woman's naked body is controversial.

The actress clarified that her mom taught her to never say sorry for her sexuality. Her father also reportedly never made her feel embarrassed. She claims that she also doesn't think she's aware that her body is "super-sexual," Daily Mail reports.

Ratajkowski had a role in "Entourage" and she's also starred opposite Zac Efron in "We Are Your Friends." She is also currently working on a new film, "Knights Of the Roundtable: King Arthur."

"Blurred Lines" became so controversial after Marvin Gaye's family sued Thicke and Pharell Williams over similarities of the song to the hit "Got to Give It Up."
