Wiz Khalifa has reportedly always been attached to weed. He even claimed that he's spending about $10,000 monthly to fund his drug habits. He has always been open about his addiction. Recently, the rapper's mother confessed that he got it from her.
The "Shell Shocked" singer's mother Katie "Peachie" Wimbush-Polk, 51, admitted that Wiz Khalifa was a curious teenager who learned about smoking weed from her and her pals, Mirror reports.
"He would smell it coming from my room with me and my girlfriends. He always knew there was a good time going on because there would be laughter and a pungent smell."
Wimbush-Polk claimed that she and her son would always have a pot session before she goes to her work and he to his school. She admits that the rapper got the habit from her. She recalls Wiz often stealing the marijuana butts and smoking them, according to Wet Paint.
It's no secret that the "See You Again" rapper has had several run-ins with the law when it comes to his drug use. In June, he pleaded guilty of marijuana possession. Back in May, he was arrested after the El Paso airport authorities found him in possession of the same substance.
The "No Sleep" singer was married to hip hop model and Kanye West's ex Amber Rose. The two separated after a year and having a son named Sebastian Taylor Thomaz. When it comes to his love life, the rapper's mother claims that she's happy with whoever makes her son happy.
"I like her, I'm a fan ... I think she's cute," pertaining to Rita Ora, who's rumored to be dating the 27-year-old rappper. "When it's serious they come home to dinner, I don't care who he brings home to dinner as long as they love him."
