A new leaked photo of LG's new Nexus 5 in "final form" has surfaced earlier this week. The leaked photo reveals what industry experts claim to be the actual design of Google's new device. Aside from the smartphone's design, the leaked image also shows a number of features expected in LG's smartphone such as a 13 MP camera, laser autofocus and dual LED flash. Search engine giant Google is scheduled to unveil the new Nexus 5 in the Sept. 29 event in San Francisco, a report from iDigital Times said.
"The image was first posted on Android Pit, and is allegedly a render that reveals the 'final design' of the new LG Nexus, which is expected to be called either the Nexus 5X, or Nexus 5 (2015). While the images are in line with many of the initial spec reports, we do get a better understanding of what we'll be expecting towards the end of the month," the report said.
iDigital Times says, "The front of the new Nexus 5 2015 isn't shown in the render image, but we expect a 5.2 Quad HD display. The rear face features a large stylized NEXUS emblem flanked by a rear-facing camera and a finger-print reader. The new renderings also show a laser auto focus as well as a dual LED flash."
Techno Buffalo reports that the rumored LG Nexus smartphone is expected to feature a 5.2-inch Quad HD display. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 808 processor, 3 GB of random access memory and 13 megapixel rear-facing camera. The phone is expected to feature a 2,700 mAh battery and a USB C-type port.
It was also said that LG Nexus 5 will be on sale for $399 after the company unveils it on September 29. The phone will be available in three color variants--white, black and light blue--and will be powered by Google's Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
