On Monday, EA has revealed a new trailer for the "Need for Speed" video game. The new trailer showcases its popular "Five Ways To Play," which provides players a new way to earn points and upgrades in the game.
It was said that the game's four-minute video has given both avid fans and players stunning visuals of the five various playing styles. Originally detailed back at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), the game allows players to take advantage of each style and enjoy the game in November, a report from iDigital Times said.
"With five different playing types; Speed, Style, Build, Crew and Outlaw, there are endless number of combinations to how you can earn points and upgrade those sweet rides. Drifting in and out of turns will earn you style points while outrunning the cops will net you those Outlaw points. Each of the five versions will be accompanied by their own icon, a racer known for that particular style. In between races and missions, 'Need for Speed' will utilize new live action video scenes which will be integrated into the game's story progression," Gamezone said, describing the game's combination and styles.
Below are the game's "Five Ways To Play," as listed by iDigital Times.
"Speed: This is Need For Speed in its purest form. Go as fast as you dare and then trigger the NOS to go even faster still. It's all about getting to the finish line first and clocking the fastest top speed while doing so.
Style: Anybody can go fast. You just need a fast car. Show the people your driving style to let them know the real secret weapon is in fact the one sitting behind the wheel. Drift between trucks and jump over gaps to show that you're not the average street racer.
Build: Why own a sports car if you're not breaking necks? Share your vision to the world and build the sickest car the car game has ever seen. Go big with insane performance mods, wild body kits, and wide wheel setups for that meticulous fitment.
Crew: Don't roll alone. Rep your crew and show off your insane tandem drifting skills through the narrow city streets. Your crew will become the most legendary and exclusive fraternity ever known.
Outlaw: Or roll alone! Who needs friends when you're antisocial? Taunt the police and live life at the edge. Drive with reckless abandon and become public enemy #1. It's all about pissing off the law."
VG247 reports that to win races in the game, players should be able to achieve both speed and style using the different cars. Since racing is all about speed, players will have to drive as fast as they can, using various "drifting and pulling off" styles.
Using various styles will enable players to earn points and at the same time enjoy high level of customization. Players can also team up with other racers and drive together, fast and furiously, in the streets for Crew events.
The "Need For Speed" is slated to be released on November 3 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
