'Once Upon A Time' Season 5 Spoilers & Air Date: Henry Gets A New Crush; Merida To Be Introduced In Episode 6

It seems like Henry (Jared S. Gilmore) will be growing up on "Once Upon A Time" Season 5 as it was reported that he will be having his first crush in the new season. According to Latin Post, executive producer Edward Kitsis revealed that a new character will have a romantic connection to Henry, and she could possibly be Henry's first love.

Kitsis said that fans are going to meet Henry's first crush. Although the producers did not reveal who she is, many speculate that it could be either Merida (Amy Manson) or Guinevere (Joana Metrass). Executive producer Adam Horowitz revealed that they are really interested in giving Henry something new to deal with and they want for him to experience the joy and pain of being an adolescent.

Speaking of Merida, Christian Today reported that the character will be introduced in episode 6 of Season 5. According to the report, Merida will be appearing in the episode titled "The Bear and the Bow." Show star Elliot Knight, who plays Merlin, posted a photo of him with Sinqua Walls (Lancelot), Liam Garrigan (King Arthur) and Joana Metrass (the King's wife Guinevere) as they join Manson in her archery training.

Meanwhile, it was earlier reported that Season 5 will focus on the transformation of Emma (Jennifer Morrison). In a seprate interview, Kitsis revealed that Season 5 will be exploring the theme of love and the events that can take place when a person uses it as a weapon. It can be remembered that Emma became the Dark Swan after she sacrificed herself in order to save Evil Queen Regina Mills (Lana Parilla).

Despite being the dark swan, it seems like Emma's loved ones won't easily give up on her as it was reported that Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Prince Charming (Josh Dallas), along with Emma's love interest Hook (Colin O'Donoghue), will do everything to bring her back, and their first mission is to find Merlin.

"Once Upon a Time" Season 5 will premiere on ABC on September 27.
