"Star Wars" spoilers coming up! Even though director J.J. Abrams tries to keep all the plot details under a hidden rock, fans are still finding clues about it everywhere, including in the recent release of new merchandise. It seems like the merchandise release on Force Friday might have given away more spoilers about the "The Force Awakens" characters.
What's certain by now is that Rey and Finn are hanging out on planet Jakku, as identified by Abrams, and Finn is a renegade Stormtrooper. In the trailers, Finn was seen dressed in a familiar attire of white armor.
However, according to a 'Hey U Guys' report, the description of what Finn wears could be a good "Star Wars" spoiler. Here is what comes along with the costume, "Sometimes, heroes come from the unlikeliest of places. The Galactic Empire has been dead for decades, but evil never really dies. With villains rising to take the Empire's place, heroes must rise to oppose them. After becoming stranded by himself in the deserts of Jakku, and meeting up with a girl named Rey, a Stormtrooper named Finn has joined the side of the Resistance. He began his adventure as a part of the New Order, but now he's one of the few people that can stop them. With a new look, Finn is ready for a new mission. Since trading in his Stormtrooper armor for a new set of gear, Finn's outfit might not be flashy, but it's all that a hero needs to succeed."
"Star Wars" SPOILERS ahead:
From what Abrams has shared, and from what we have seen on trailers, it can be assumed that Finn turned his back from The First Order and he was running away from Captain Phasma. He then joins Rey as they join together with Han Solo and Chebacca.
So, as per the costume's description that appears to have led to spoilers, it was clearly stated that Finn becomes "stranded', which changes previous assumptions about him. No one can say just yet who his father is, but it is already assumed that he is Lando Calrissian's relative.
